The Battery Analysis Module automatically takes Anode Overhang measurements within cells and presents intuitive visualizations.

Lumafield’s Battery Analysis Module is a powerful analysis workflow in Voyager, designed specifically for battery manufacturers. This tool comprehensively automates the assessment of battery cells across all form factors—cylindrical, pouch, and prismatic—and chemistries. It simplifies the inspection process, enabling precise measurement and detection of critical quality characteristics essential for battery performance and safety. And with Ultra-Fast CT, a scan can be run in as little as 0.1 seconds.

The module provides automated tools for measuring anode cathode overhang (ACO) distance, detecting debris and contaminants, assessing can circularity and wall thickness, and identifying delamination and current collector defects. These capabilities are seamlessly integrated into Voyager’s browser-based interface, ensuring easy adoption and streamlined operation across every stage of the battery development and manufacturing cycle.
