At Lumafield, you have the opportunity to work alongside some of the smartest people in the industry to solve manufacturing’s most difficult problems. You can genuinely see how your work contributes to the company’s success, which makes every project feel meaningful. It’s a special place to work, and I leave each day impressed by how quickly our team moves, collaborates, and delivers solutions that help our customers succeed!
Lumafield is incredibly good at building with intention. Every decision is grounded in real manufacturing problems, and everyone’s invested in what we’re making and why it matters. There’s always something new to learn. You can push yourself to try new things and know the team will have your back. I’m able to bring together my interests in 3D graphics, design, and software all in one role. The people here are smart, humble, and generous with their time and ideas. We help when things get tricky and celebrate each other’s wins.
My initial interest in Lumafield came from the fascinating scans that showed the internal assemblies of some of my favorite electronic devices. After joining, it became clear that the company's focus, at the intersection of hardware and software, is necessary to deliver the solutions our customers require at the speed we strive to maintain. At Lumafield, knowledge is willingly shared and active collaboration is the natural disposition. I've appreciated how this dynamic has accelerated my learning cycles and fueled my growing curiosity.

Our commitment to speed drives us to act swiftly and decisively. We are constantly refining our processes to maintain momentum and achieve outstanding results.
We are relentless in our pursuit of excellence. We are resilient. We find a way or make one. We persevere and succeed together.
We are perpetual learners. We leverage our curiosity to challenge assumptions, follow the thread of the problem, and to uncover the real challenges that our customers face.
We do what we say we are going to do. We hold ourselves accountable to each other and to our customers. We tackle hard problems head-on and always follow through.
We listen before speaking, lead with empathy, and show our customers that their problems are ours to solve.
The joy of working at Lumafield is having the agency to directly translate customer problems from the factory floor to meaningful product improvements. The flexibility and speed of our team is what makes work here so exciting. I get to turn real-world challenges into prototypes, collaborate across engineering, and deploy solutions into demanding production environments. It's rare to have that much ownership from the first customer conversation to a solution running on the line.
Building hardware is notoriously difficult, but daring to create the tools that revolutionize how things are made is what makes this place special. With my background in manufacturing and quality engineering, I joined Lumafield because I wanted a much deeper look at how everything works. This is a team that gives you the freedom to explore, collaborate, and push your limits!
It’s rare to find a company that actually does what it says, but I’ve been extremely impressed with Lumafield in this regard. Integrity is one of our core values, and ever since the interview process, Lumafield has continued to keep integrity at its forefront. I saw representation on the interview team, I have ownership of my projects, and it’s been so rewarding working with capable people who actively listen. I truly believe we’re building an industry changing product with a company that wants to see individuals succeed.
