Auto-Dimensioning supports linear, circular, and angular measurements on both volumetric and mesh data, as well as standard GD&T features, such as true position, flatness, and profile tolerances. Voyager allows users to take precise measurements on sectioned volumes and meshes, providing deeper insight into internal geometries that are often inaccessible with traditional tools. This makes it ideal for validating parts with intricate internal structures or thin-walled polymer features, where traditional measuring tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Optical Measurement Machines (OMMs) struggle.
When paired with Triton, Voyager extends this capability to the production floor, enabling automated, in-line inspection to dimension parts at high volume with ease. Engineers can automatically apply GD&T measurement templates across multiple parts, batch process scans, and instantly generate comparative reports for first article inspections (FAI).
Voyager’s Auto-Dimensioning tool is currently in beta and will be widely available in early 2026. Contact Lumafield to learn more about its capabilities.
